BOOKING TERMS AND CONDITIONS

The booking shall be in the name of one person (the Hirer) who must be over 18 years of age and shall be responsible for the actions of all members of their party. The number of persons occupying the property must not exceed the number stipulated in the booking.

A booking becomes firm on receipt of the non-refundable Booking Deposit (or if the booking is made less than 6 weeks before the start of the rental, the full amount). The balance of the full amount must be paid 6 weeks before the start of the rental. All payments are to be made in pounds sterling (GBP) and all bank charges are to be borne by the Hirer. Confirmation of the booking will be made by e-mail or post.

In the event of cancellation by the Hirer, a refund will only be made if the property is re-let. In the unlikely event of cancellation by the Owner, liability is limited to the refund of payments made.

If requested by the Owner, a Damage Deposit to cover damage or breakages must be paid. This will be refunded after the end of the rental (less any deductions).

The Hirer agrees to be responsible for leaving the property in good order and clean condition otherwise a charge will be levied.

The Hirer agrees to pay for any damage or loss, however caused, excluding reasonable wear and tear.

The Owner shall be allowed right of entry to the property at reasonable times for purposes of inspection or to carry out any necessary maintenance. Emergency access shall be allowed at all times.

The Owner cannot accept liability for happenings outside reasonable control, such as the breakdown of domestic appliances, plumbing or wiring, or damage resulting from exceptional weather conditions.

The Owner shall have no liability for injury to persons or for damage to or loss of possessions during the rental.
